Fire Detection System FM 815.5

Description

The fire detection main unit 815.5 has got 2 or 6 detection loops available and it is approved by German Lloyd (GL). Designed with 24V loop voltage the 815 is compatible to a variety of fire detectors and thus it is the ideal replacement for defect or obsolete central units without the necessity of detector replacement or even new cabling. Small dimensions of the 815.5 allow to install the unit directly in the bridge console. Equipped with different potential free alarm contacts external sirens and beacons can be connected and alarm signals can be forwarded to a already existing general alarm system. It is possible to program the outputs of the 815.5 to belong to two different groups to enable an area alarm e.g. engine and accommodation area. The 815.5 has to be connected to a 24V main and an emergency power supply. In case there is no emergency power supply available a battery with charging module can serve as secondary supply. Both power supplies are constantly monitored and all fire detection loops are equipped with a wire break monitor.
